RNA Regulatory Networks

Handshakes and fights

My new review on the regulatory interplay of RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) is now out in Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences. The paper describes cooperative (“handshakes“), competitive (“fights“) and mutual (RBP-on-RBP)  patterns of interaction between these key regulators of gene expression. This interplay concurs to the formation of post-transcriptional regulatory networks and is thus a determinant of cell phenotypes. The manuscript can be found here.
